Can anyone provide me with first hand information about the Bahamas islands? I would like first hand information, not those i can read from travel guides. or the previous informations I get from this forum. I want something fresh and anecdotal. Thanks so much! if you provide at least one. God bless you! |

When I went I stayed in Nassau at the Wyndham Palace Resort (w/ casino) which btw has its own private beach-- Very clean and well kept but i spent most of my days days at Paradise Island, Atlantis and at Cabbage beach-- Paradise Island has a private beach (unless u are a guest there u cannot go) but Cabbage beach which is 5 minutes away (walking distance) is BEAUTIFUL!!! clear water, clean beaches, good people. Paradise Island is a bit more expensive so if u're on a budget then go to Nassau and take a boat to Paradise Island- Its $3 each way --
You cannot get lost, u can take the little jitney buses for $1, which stops right in front of the Wyndham and in front of many of the major resorts or hotels and will take u down to where u take the boat--
You will love it-- GO TO NASSAU OR PARADISE ISLAND ONLY! I have not heard good reviews about Freeport |

Newcomers to The Islands of Bahamas feel that they have arrived at not only one but at many destinations. Between the "poles" of Grand Bahama and Great Inagua are 23 inhabited islands and thousands of unpopulated islets. Reaching here, you will enjoy memorable mix of historic charm, modern attractions and ecological wonders. Bahama Grand Resort and Castaways Resort etc are good places to stay. For booking luxury accomodations, you may visit travel.justluxe.com or Tripadvisor.com or Lonelyplanet.com etc. For latest inforamtion and any help, you may contact Bahamas tourism offices at the Florida, Illinois, Texas and California.

I made my first trip at Bahamas and we friends enjoyed it. We have decided to make second trip soon and have decided to stay at Bahamas. The place is really awesome and we have also planned for fishing. _________________ Playa del Carmen weddings |
