Cheapest flights to caribbean?

my husband and i are planning a vacation. we'd really love to go back to the caribbean (we went to grenada for our honeymoon - fabulous). we want the blue water but can't afford to fly as far as grenada this time. any ideas as to the cheapest places in the caribbean to fly?

The time of the year you're traveling can make a huge difference in ticket price.

From the northeast, cheapest flights tend to be to San Juan, Dominican Republic (Punta Cana tends to be the highest of all the other DR destinations), Montego Bay (Jamaica), Nassau (Bahamas), Grand Bahama Island (Bahamas), Bermuda. Flights to Cancun, Aruba and Grand Cayman can sometimes be cheap.

Also check out flights to St. Thomas. Generally, the larger islands with the larger airports and the higher number of tourists have the most competitive fares for a cheap to the Caribbean.

American Airlines is currently having a cheapest flight sale for travel to the Caribbean in January and February. You might want to check out what they have available if you can travel in the next two months.

When are you going and from where? Air Jamaica is having a great fall sale to Grenada. I'm a Grenada fan so I'm always on the lookout for cheap flights there. It was something like $520 including taxes from BWI to GND when I looked yesterday.

summer vacation there so don't wait go visit there.

Check out Leeward Island Air Transport .
They have a system allowing multiple hops around much of the Caribbean for a limited period.

Google will find them for you.

My only advice, same as others, book early and shop around! That's the easiest way to get a good rate without flying with livestock. Wink

Have you both considered going with an all inclusive package?
My boyfriend and I have done a couple of all inclusive trips that were a lot of fun and very cost effective.
I'd recommend looking on TripAdvisor.com for the best site that would suite your needs but the last two trips we took

This world is so much beautiful. As there are lot of beautiful place I suggest you to great places for honey moon there you can enjoy with lot of happiness and also in low budget.
