Couples Sans Souci
Has anyone ever stayed at this resort. I am thinking about booking this for my honeymoon and was looking for any feedback. Thanks. |

Hi, Panic....we stayed at Couples Sans Souci a year ago and loved it. The resort is built into a cliffside, offering amazing views. This was our 3rd Couples trip (previous 2 were Couples Negril), and there were 2 things in particular that we enjoyed at Sans Souci: the all-suite accommodations, and room service as part of the AI.
This resort is charming and romantic--lots of lovely paths & walkways, giving a sense that you're the only people there. Food and service are far beyond what we've experienced at non-Couples AIs.
If you haven't checked it out already, I recommend you visit the couples website. There are maps & photos of all 4 Couples resorts, with detailed descriptions, restaurant menus, etc. There's also a message board where you can find out more about the properties.
Good luck with the planning, & Congratulations on your wedding ! |

Hi all, we are staying at San Souci in Sept. for our Honeymoon. We booked with US Airways and recieved a confirmation from them but not the resort. Did any of you have direct contact with the resort? If so, could you please pass on how to contact them?
Thank you for your evaluation of the resort, it really helped us make our decision. |

We've been to Couples 3 times, twice to C.Negril and once to Sans Souci. I agree with kfusto in regards to preferring Negril to OR. Negril's beaches are far superior, IMO, but I must admit that the views from our hillside suite at Sans Souci were amazing. As far as the Couples experience goes, I don't think you can go wrong with either area, Negril or OR. Your description of a mix of romance, relaxation and activity is spot on; there's plenty to do if you're so inclined, but no pressure if you simply want to chill.
We found the food at Couples to be
far superior to any other AI we've visited. Drinks were top shelf, as was the service. My recollection is that the Special can be quite a discount, so it's a good deal. If you do end up in Negril, don't miss the Catamaran cruise with Rasta Ralphie---it's a hoot, with a glorious sunset thrown in for good measure.
Enjoy your vacation ! |
