| My family and I will be flying to Curacao in the summer from JFK Airport in New York City. How long is the flight? What is the island like? Cuisine? Beaches? |

I don't know how long the travel time is but I can help you out on the other stuff.
Cura?§ao is a really laid back island. The people here wear mostly casual clothes and light clothes since the weather is soo hot. We have allot of attractions like an ostrich farm, a cave called Hato caves, lots of diving sites, a dolphin academy where you can swim with the dolphins, a seaquarium, and great food.
If you want to go dine out you have got to ask the locals or the hotel frontdesk where the best places are because they are a little hard to find. I personally recomend the ribs factory. It's a good mix of barbacue and high end dineing. There's a lot of seafood restaurants too and european like restaurants.
The beaches are the best beaches in the Caribbean. They all have white sandy beaches and are blue (not green). Ask any local and they will tell you that Knip beach is the best beach. But since it's so popular you might want to avoid going there on the weekends. If you want to go to a beach where there's also a great restaurant right on the beach you have to go to Jan Thiel beach. You have to pay 5 guilders for admission(that's about $2 for adults) but it's worth it.
I hope I've helped you enough on this one. If you need any help just e-mail me and I'll be glad to help. |

Just wanted to add in a little on Samantha's recommendations.
Can't really help you with the travel time either, but my best guess is anywhere from 3 to 5 hours.
Most of the atractions already got mentioned there, so I will send you links to the websites for most of them.
Playa Porto Marie is also a very nice place to swim, and so is Jeremy Beach.
As for eating, try out "Awa di Playa" at Piscadera for good seafood, "Parke Shete Boka" and "Plasa Bieu" (Old Market) for some great locl dishes. Most Hotels will have a "Wine and Dine Guid" available for a more detailed list of restaurants on the island. Once you visit the Ostrich farm, you can also have some goood food there. |

| Well, I would love to see Curacao Island and appreciate the beautiful beaches the island has to offer. Aside from that, I would also love to see other tourist spots. I hope one day, I would have the chance to see Curacao's beauty. |

The Curacao is the excellent place for visitors. The beaches are so appealing and attractive with soft sand to walk on and exotic surroundings to view. The water is so beautiful and it offers several adventures. _________________ Romantic bed and breakfasts |

Curacao is a great family travel destination. It is not somewhere I would want to go if I was a single traveler. They offer scuba diving and jet ski rental. It was a little bit on the expensive side. _________________ Annual Travel Insurance |

| There are a lot of things that are fascinating & have attraction as well. Weather is very hot, but it will become pleasant after afternoon. This island has great lovely unique natural scenes, especially in the morning when sun rises. However you can detail information & how to get sources of traveling there from Hank Freid on a single click. |

Curacao is nice place to spend vacation.
There is a dolphin academy and it is really amazing feeling to swim with the dolphins. You can enjoy their show. They provide trainer to help you.
So if you want to make your holidays memorable then Curacao is nice destination.
