Where are the best beaches to visit? I am planning a trip to Buenos Aries the first part of February. I have heard of a place in Mar del Plata called Honu Beach. _________________ Ruth Lopez |

| I've been lucky to experience all but Barbuda. The closest to Maundays Bay (might even beat it in some respects) is Grace Bay in T&C. In general, the flat coral based islands (such as Anguilla, T&C, Barbuda, some Out Islands in Bahamas) have the blinding white sands with neon turquoise waters. Grand Anse doesn't have that turquoise, nor does St. Lucia or St. Barth. The water is turquoise by the shore, but it deapens to a dark blue quickly. Being hilly also, the water sometimes isn't as crystal clear. (I have seen the waters clear-just not in comparrison to Anguilla, T&C, etc.) What the other choices have is overall scenery with the hills and vistas. |

| Well I have been to antigua and the beaches there are completely picture perfect. St lucia's beaches are not quite the like most typical carribean beaches the water is not a clear and blue, but the rain forest is beautiful if you can stomach the windy roads to get there. grenada is somewhat like st lucia if that helps. |
